On 3 October 2026, from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm, our motto is: discover. explore. learn. We’re opening our doors to IT enthusiasts of all ages and inviting you to discover LRZ: Experience massive supercomputers, innovative quantum computers, powerful AI systems and exciting virtual reality demos. You can also look forward to a varied programme of talks, as well as a hands-on area for kids. Come along, take a look behind the scenes and get inspired by the future of computer science!

Workshops & Training
At the LRZ, you can learn how to use supercomputers and quantum computers as well as artificial intelligence (AI) methods. LRZ specialists and experts from other research institutions will explain important techniques or how to optimise codes and algorithms in online courses and on-site at the LRZ.
