The inter-university IT Service Information Security (HITS IS) bundles competencies that are required at all university locations in Bavaria and makes information security services available to all members of the Digital Network of Bavaria (https://digitalverbund.bayern/digitalverbund-bayern-2/mitglieder/) – i.e. user classes 1 and 2.

Fees
The costs are borne centrally by the universities through a levy.
