Various server types are offered, whereby the type of CPUs, the number of CPU cores, the size of the main memory and other installed components can be changed in consultation with the LRZ. The investment costs for the systems to be procured are borne by the customer.
In addition to the investment costs for new hardware, operating costs and administration costs are invoiced annually. The amount of the actual fees depends on the hardware installed. The electricity and infrastructure costs as well as the investment costs depend on the hardware in question.
The customer receives an offer from the LRZ prior to procurement that includes the investment costs as well as the operating and administration costs.
