"Reality is Optional”: Under this motto, LRZ’s Centre for Virtual Reality and Visualisation (V2C) once again invites you to its Open Lab Day. Join us on December 3, 2026, from 5:30 p.m.
The spotlight is on projects developed by students from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Munich and the Technical University of Munich (TUM). As part of a hands-on course, they designed and implemented interactive and immersive applications for Head Mounted Displays (HMD), taking their ideas from initial concept to finished experience. The resulting projects showcase their creativity and expertise in virtual reality (VR).
Experience the student projects firsthand, enjoy our spectacular CAVE installation and HMDs, connect with our long-standing VR partners, and take a behind-the-scenes tour of our SuperMUC-NG supercomputer.
Registration is required. The registration page will be available in early October.
