CONCORDIA stands for "Cybersecurity Competence for Research and Innovation". Since 2019 the project has built an ecosystem for cybersecurity experts.

The CONCORDIA project involved 56 institutions from across the EU, including universities, research centres, private companies and public bodies from 17 EU member states, Switzerland, Norway, Israel and the UK. It was coordinated by the University of the Bundeswehr Munich and funded by the European Union to an amount of almost 16 million euros. The project started on 1st January 2019 and ended on 31st March 2023.

The LRZ supported CONCORDIA as a service provider, that organised communication services as well as platforms such as GitLab for the open source security tools. Above all, however, the LRZ was involved in training and research planning for example in the organisation of so-called Cyber Ranges.
