Switching PerSyst Off

Switching off the PerSyst Monitoring for user performance measurements is done by calling the command
persyst_off
in the batch script prior to job execution. For example:

Important: please remove the persyst_off command when you are not doing performance measurements, so we can monitor the performance of the machine!

persyst_off writes a file named with the jobid in this directory:
/lrz/mnt/supermuc/acctmon/persyst/out/perf_off/
Prior to measurement PerSyst reads once this directory and transmits a „persyst_off“-command to the nodes involved and normal measure-command to the other nodes. PerSyst Agents measure only non-conflicting events on the persyst_off nodes (for example io, network, memory usage, etc..)
