Interaction of high-power laser pulses with matertials can generate complex plasmas which are useful for processes such as particle acceleration, coherent electromagnetic radiation generation, ultra-high quasi-static electric and magnetic field generation etc. Due to the complex nature of the interaction process, experimental studies require computer simulations to gain detailed insight on the interaction. At HIJ we study the generation of high-power terahertz radaition during short-pulse laser amtter interaction. These radaition are result of the particle acceleration process during laser-matter interaction. We experiemntally investigate and characterize the terahertz generation which require particle in-cell simualtions elaborate the experimental evidences. Indeed the studies can provide an different approach to understand the existing techniques to investigate the particle acceleration process.2D Particle-In-Cell (PIC) simulation studies will be carried out using the EPOCH code. We will investigate the influnce of incident laser and target prameters on terahrtz generation during laser-matter interaction.
