Abstract
We run the EPOS simulation which is able to deliver realistic freeze-out coordinates for the identified particle species to test the differences in the particle emission sources, both in pp and Pb-Pb collisions. Simulations of pp collisions are run both at 7 and 13 TeV energies, while Pb-Pb collisions are run both for 2.76 and 5.02 TeV, which are the energies characterizing the Run 1 and Run 2 operations at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. To obtain information about the different particle emission source, a huge number of statistics is needed. This can only be realized using parallel processing of individual events. The outcome of this simulation will help understanding the nature of genuine 3-particle forces, which are needed to describe the equation of state of super-massive neutron stars.
