During my time in Scotland (2008-2010), I initiated the SIRE Economic History Group and organized two workshops:
The 1st SIRE Workshop in Economic History
took place in Stirling on December 4th 2009.
It featured presentations by Luis Angeles (Glasgow), David Greasley (Edinburgh) and Bob Hart (Stirling).
The 2nd SIRE Workshop in Economic History took place at the University of Stirling on 21 May 2010.
It featured presentations by Tim Barmby (Aberdeen), Sascha O. Becker (Stirling), Robert Mochrie (Heriot-Watt), Gary Shea (St.Andrews)
