Travel Directions
The following description assumes that you will use means of public transport as long as possible.
To the Conference Building, Leopoldstr. 13
From the Marienplatz
Use the underground trains U3 (Olympiazentrum) or U6 (Garching-Hochbrück) with direction "Münchener Freiheit" to the station "Giselastraße".
Leave the train and go upstairs in direction "Giselastraße, Georgenstraße", turn right in direction "Georgenstraße, Universität" and follow the conference signs into the pink building. The building can either be entered from the backside or over the bridge from the streetside.
To the Hotel Carlton, Fürstenstraße 12
From the Marienplatz
Use the underground trains U3 (Olympiazentrum) or U6 (Garching-Hochbrück) with direction "Münchener Freiheit" to the station "Odeonsplatz".
Leave the train and go upstairs in direction "Galeriestraße", turn left and leave the station at the exit "Oskar-von-Miller-Ring".
Follow the "Ludwigstraße" outwards and turn the first street left into the "Oskar-von-Miller-Ring"
Turn the first street right into the "Fürstenstraße", where the Hotel Carlton is situated at the end on the righthand side.
To the Marienplatz
From the Main Station
Use one of the underground trains S1, S2, ..., S8 with direction "Marienplatz, Ostbahnhof" to the station "Marienplatz".
Leave the train on the righthand side and use the moving staircase downwards, following the blue signs for the underground train.
Then follow the signs for the underground trains U3 (Olympiazentrum) and U6 (Garching-Hochbrück) in direction "Odeonsplatz".
Now follow one of the descriptions above.
From the Airport
Use one of the trains S1 or S8 with direction "Innenstadt" to the station "Marienplatz".
Leave the train on the righthand side and use the moving staircase downwards, following the blue signs for the underground train.
Then follow the signs for the underground trains U3 (Olympiazentrum) and U6 (Garching-Hochbrück) in direction "Odeonsplatz".
Now follow one of the description first two descriptions.
