Ski, Snowboard and Toboggan Day

The German-American Friendship Program will organize a trip to the Ziller valley in the Austrian Alps (Fügen/Hochfügen). Come on and join us with yours skis, snowboards or toboggans.

When?

Sunday January 19, 1997

Meeting Point:

We meet at 7:30 AM at the U-Bahnhof Michaelibad (U2 or U5). Follow the signs to the P&R (Park & Ride) parking lot.

What to bring along?

  • Money. For skiers and snowboarders the all-day lift pass is DM 50,-. We will share the gas expenses, approx. DM 10,- per person. German currency is accepted, although you may get the change in Austrian Schillings (even for 100 DM bills).
  • Skiing/boarding equipment, if possible. You may also rent skis, boards, poles and boots at the resort.
  • Packet lunch (if you want to save some money).
  • Passport for the Austrian border.
