Current water level at Vent gauging station (Province Tirol)...

Since 1973 the Commission for Glaciology runs probably the highest runoff measuring station of the Alps. It is situated in the Ötztal Alps in the proglacial area of Vernagtferner. Climate data of high temporal resolution are also measured with an automatic climate station all year round. Since 2003, the function of the station is remotely monitored and selected climate data of the previous day are available online. The raw data are transmitted by SMS and the automatic update normally takes place at 215 MEZ. The actual editing of the data is usually conveyed every few months. Technical realisation: Matthias Siebers.
