Research Interests

Research activities:

·   cuprate and FeAs-based high temperature superconductors: phase diagram, order parameter symmetry, coexisting/competing ordering phenomena

·   solid state based quantum information processing, superconducting qubits

·   superconducting devices (e.g. Josephson junctions, three-terminal devices, SQUIDs,  particle detectors, etc.), electrical transport and noise properties of HTS Josephson junctions, modeling of HTS junctions

·   transport in mesoscopic metallic structures, quantum effect devices

·  spin electronics, spin dependent transport in magnetic oxides, spin caloritronics

·  multiferroics, strain and electric field control of magnetism

·   thin film technology for cuprates and other transition metal oxides
