Abstract:
The interpretation of the Cosmic Ray data with energies above 10^19 eV requires the use of Monte Carlo simulations. These particles have energies in the center of mass 20 times larger than the energies accessible to accelerator experiments in the LHC. These simulations are intended to derive parameters that can be compared to experimental data and constrain hadronic models at very high energies.
